Helle has over 25 years’ experience as a freelance
interpreter and translator, and is the founder/director of Converto Global
Language Services Ltd. She works extensively with the HM Courts & Tribunals
Service as well as the Metropolitan Police Service and other UK police forces
and law enforcement agencies, and she also delivers services across the
Norwegian and British shipping, energy, technology, and hospitality sectors. Helle has NPPV3 SC security clearance, and is a full member
of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters, the Society of
Official Metropolitan Police Interpreters, and the Association of Police and
Court Interpreters. She holds a Diploma in Translation from CIOL, is
a Chartered Translator, and is a government-authorised translator (Statsautorisert
Translatør) in her native Norway. Before joining the language sector she worked
at senior level in the hospitality industry, and offers the multicultural
skills and awareness needed for international business environments as well as
public entities.
